The Japanese emperor's father Hirohito started WWII with the USA by bombing Pearl Harbor.

If he would ever apologize to those millions of innocents that his father ordered killed, raped, maimed, tortured, and etc, then the president should allow the silly Japanese emperor to bow to the USA president.

When the Japanese conquered the Philippines, the Japanese posted proclamations that "Any Philippine female refusing sex with any Japanese soldier is subject to immediate summary execution on the spot."


Martin Luther King stated something to the effect that "Everything that Adolph Hitler did in Germany was legal."

Per your logic, the son of emperor Hirohito is responsible and should apologies for his father's actions. I guess by your logic, we should make reparations and apologize to African Americans who were enslaved by our kin in the past.

Dear truth:

I agree with your idea that we owe apologies to many people, especially the decendants of African American slaves. The victors get to write the history, and almost never apologize to the vanquished.

Maybe we should also apologize to the remaining American Indians whose ancestors were exterminated by the US government in order to get their living space for US citizens, including the newly freed slaves. This is supposedly where Adolph Hitler got his idea for additional German Living space ("Libenstrum" in one of his books prior to WWII).

Bowing in Japan is a custom of their country, it is the same as a hand-shake in America. And so I think you need to get over it. What if someone from Japan refuses to accept a hand-shake from you? You would grip and complain about that too most likely, whatever Obama does you people will have a complaint handy and so it doesn't make a difference how you feel about it there's nothing you can do about it anyway.

Gerald, son. You're scaring me again. Americans don't want to be reminded that we butchered folk like Hitler.

Next thing you'll be reminding us about all those folks killed by the Christians in the name of Christianity. Folk don't want to hear that.
