"so I find their appearance irrelevant."

I don't doubt that you do. Unfortunately, quite a number of the 1 star folk must think otherwise.

You are soooo right about appearance being a very important factor. Just look at the KTRH homepage. There is a link to "women of the GOP" located under Michael Berry's page. Here's the link. Click here to go to link

Yep. That's what I mean. We like a politician we would feel comfortable slapping on the butt in these parts :) And just look at Trog's little picture...

"I think that you just hit the nail on the head. She does in fact promise an unrealistic America and that is the appeal she presents to some of those on the right."

Could not the same be said for every politician, including Obama, substituting left for right, of course?

I heard a discussion this weekend regarding the Washington Redskins, an the following phrase was uttered: "A goal, without a viable plan, is just a wish." I applied it to Obama, and it made me look at him very differently. I'm no longer sure that he realizes what damage he is doing to the country longterm and is so focused on his "wish" to provide "everything for everybody" he does not see that source of the funds to pay for this endeavor are not sustainable.

This "Medicare for all" program he is promoting will never pay for itself, and the taxes he is demanding be paid by a select group of people will not produce the income he expects when all is said and done. I am confident that it will not be many years down the road when we will hear that there was a mistake made in computing the cost involved, and the burden of paying for it will move down the income scale.

Yes, I do know it all, I just can't always remember it.

It just dawned on me. "Same As It Never Was" was the name of the antique shop run by Jennifer Love Hewitt on the Ghost Whisperer. Curious, is this a really subtle reference to zombies?

"is this a really subtle reference to zombies?"

Guilty as charged. Sorry. I get bored easily.

Tex - The quote from my post is."Much like a far leftist, she promises an unrealistic America that her followers dream of."
