QOTD - What's Hurting President Obama?
Posted: 11/4/2009 7:24 am
I will admit, I didn't vote, because they didn't give the best option: It's not the economy, or the war, or health care that is hurting the president... IT IS LOUD MOUTH RADIO HOSTS - Rush gets 3 hours, Hannity gets 3, Glen Beck gets 2, Michael Berry (local but obnoxious when he goes national) gets 2, and then Lavine gets a couple. With 12 hours a day spent on bashing the president, it can almost get believeable. It is the mind-numbed robots that follow them - that's right. People who only get their news from the talkshow hosts (you know who you are) while accusing people who voted for Obama of "drinking the kool-aid are the ones who really are taking big gulps. It is not so much your fault. Again, when it's entertaining, and one sided, it's hard to resist the hype. But there are two sides to every issue. It is the psudo-news shows that hang on their words (Sorry Lana and J.P. - but you should be ashamed having Glen Beck to analyze to talk about the Obama administration... that just proves that news is not important to you, no matter what the Texas Radio Hall of Fame might think). I say this as one who is in favor of open media. I don't want to see restrictions on the air waves or on the internet. I want Fox and CNN to have their opportunities equally. But everything must be weighed logically. I believe if people quit listening to the nay-sayers, and started looking at all sides, they might not think so badly.
