Trouble is that it is NOT the "official" language of the United States.
Now that there are so many Spanish speaking people here it is practically too late, and Congress is too busy catering to them, that the official language will be English **and** Spanish soon.
I don't care whether I learn Spanish or not, but it is logical to state what you did. English is the established language in this country, and in such it should be the official one and only language accepted in business.
I hate it that I see job offers around everywhere here that say you have to be bi-lingual in order to work somewhere. So, now employers are catering to illegal or lazy individuals who want to impose their own culture on us. Shoving their everything down our throats, protesting in the streets, and making it loudly known that they believe the USA would not be able to function without them.
