Perhaps the statement should have been there is no association of White People that is accepted by society. Those you noted are right wing radical extremists who don't even accept all white people into their organizations. I'm not defending them by the way, I find their mindsets and actions deplorable.

I'm guessing the posters reference refers to the fact that if an organization was started and let's say called the NAAWP, focusing on changing government programs simply to benefit white people while ignoring what is best for the entire country, they would not be accepted either and would be considered racist. For some reason that moniker is not attached to the NAACP, LULAC, New Black Panthers, etc. Same holds true for many scholarships, beauty pageants, and even colleges.

What a pity we can't just all work towards what is best for all of America.

Without finding links to post I can not give you specific examples but I will work on getting some for you. I find any organization that bases their decisions solely to benefit one specific race NOT TO BE WHAT BEST FOR THE ENTIRE COUNTRY.

You again reference groups that the majority of white people denounce. Please note one group who is considered to be acceptable tat has a platform based solely on promoting white people.

Yes, I have. My job often takes me into black neighborhoods where I am called a variety of insulting names just because of my skin color. I'm not law or government, just there providing a service. I don't appreciate it which is why I do not conduct myself in that manner toward others.

"I am called a variety of insulting names just because of my skin color." Not much fun when you are on the receiving end, but those are just names, and yes the name-calling is stupid regardless of race. But that is not descrimination. Decrimination is more like being deprived of simple civil rights due to skin color, religion, etc. Like I said, I've never experienced discrimination and if you're white, neither have you.

Yes,

I applied for a scholarship grant from the United Negro College Fund, because I need money and they turned me down because I did not fit their qualifications.

Let me think: I was number 14 from the top in my high school graduating class, I was a former Marine, I got 4.0 GPA and perfect attendance at my tech school for computer systems technology where I earned an Associates degree and I was able to carry on a full time job, and accomplish a respectable 3.83gpa when I got my BS in Criminal Justice.

Now, with those qualifications, I wonder WHAT I could have not qualified for?

I think Rush is one of the worst things about our country, but he has the right to speak his mind and people have the right to listen. By the way, his agenda is to line his pockets with money. He doesn't care one iota about America. In fact, Rush Limbaugh, along with Newt Gingrich and Bob Dole were instrumental in blocking health care reform back in the 90's. I remember Rush rang a huge smear campaign on his show against health care reform, which Newt & Bob picked up in their rhetoric. Consequently, nothing go passed and thousands of people have died or suffered because of that. Rush Limabaugh is not a great American.

Academic excellence... YEP got that.
Military background... (organizational involvement)
A member of the African American race (hmmm.... not that I know of)
I can't recall what else. It's been a few years.

There is NO excuse for someone dying or suffering because of no national healthcare plan. Haven't you been to the emergency room? Haven't you seen the free clinics and cheap doctor's offices? They have them everywhere. There are requirements that hospitals are not to turn away those who are mortally sick, those who are in labor, and some other rules as well.

The over-dramatization of the healthcare crisis is part of the reason that people are wanting this to go through. The crisis is that we already have plans in place to help take care of the indigent, even those without any medicare/medicaid. More of that FUD. It's distressing to know that in the 21st century we are still wrapped up in the witch hunts and the fear of dragons.

Bla, bla, bla?
Silverwolf, You are right! Rush is a mental giant! You see, the problem is that radio hosts like Limbaugh are very good at communicating their points of view, so they get a large group of people to hear and believe what they say. Since they are so convincing, it doesn't matter if they are right or wrong. People like you just believe them and end up parroting what they say. Remember that Limbaugh is just out to build his audience and make more money. He does that by being controversial. It's an attention thing.

I appreciate your qualifications as listed, but that's not what I was asking. What did they say was the qualification that you were missing?
