Should U.S. drivers be required to speak and understand English?

I graduated from high school in Germany and guess what....... I had to learn German in order to survive. Didn't hurt me any, in fact, it made all my years there easier. If someone moves to my country and expects to live and work here, then I expect them to know the language of my country and vice versa. Makes sense to me. So I say "Welcome to America...now speak English!" Now if that does not set well with you...... go home!
